QUILTING CLASSES

Come in and make a special bag for cat or dog lovers.  This class will teach you all about applique and you will end up with a beautiful quilted tote bag.  Trisha Della Vella is the designer as well as the teacher.

PFAFF CLUB

Held on the first Saturday of every month, this club is for owners of Pfaff machines who want to explore the full potential of their Pfaff machine.  Taught by Marilyn Bond, a Pfaff Educator, this is a project oriented course for Pfaff owners of all levels.

CREATIVE VISION CLUB

Taught by Marilyn Bond for owners of the new Pfaff Creative Vision Sewing and Embroidery machine, this club is designed to help the owners of the Creative Vision understand all of the incredible capabilities of this awe inspiring machine.

THE EMBROIDERY CLUB

This club is taught by Helen Murtagh and is designed for the owners of embroidery machines of any make and is a stimulating and imaginative course for those who love embroidery and want to perfect their skills.  This club meets on the second Saturday of each month.

SOFTWARE

Taught by Helen Murtagh, who has spent a lifetime working with computers for a major international bank.

SEWING CLUB

This club is taught by Catherine Mele and is also a project oriented club for those who like a “quick and dirty” class.  You will make and finish in one morning, a project for gift giving or for yourself and is aimed at making things other than clothing.  This club is ideal for those who don’t have or don’t want embroidery machines.

DRESSMAKING

Beginners

This is a five-week course for the person who does not know how to sew.  It will cover the basics of measuring, cutting and assembling a garment from a pattern.  You will end up with a garment you can wear and proudly declare that you made it yourself.

Intermediate

This course is for the sewer who has basic skills but wants to go farther along the road to making perfect garments.

Home Decor

This course teaches you how to make drapes, cushions and other soft furnishing for your home.
